Ibex leads portfolio company,Viewz, announces seed round

Early-Stage Israel

By Aaron Rinberg

Every CFO I talk to says some version of the same thing: finance feels heavier than it should. More tools, more dashboards, more "AI features," and yet the monthly close still takes weeks, finance teams spend more time cleaning data than analyzing it, and nobody fully trusts the numbers at the end.

That's why we backed Viewz. Today, I'm excited to share that Ibex Investors co-led their $7M seed alongside our friends at Flint Capital.

Finance Is Still Running on a Broken Foundation

Today’s finance teams operate across a patchwork of disconnected systems: legacy ERPs, general ledgers, outsourced bookkeeping firms, payroll platforms, FP&A tools, and endless spreadsheets. Despite years of automation software, the core problems remain remarkably consistent:

  • Monthly close cycles still stretch 3–4 weeks

  • Finance leaders spend more time preparing data than analyzing it

  • AI tools generate unreliable outputs because AI on top of fragmented systems is still chaos

From Tools to Infrastructure

What resonated with us immediately was that Viewz is not trying to improve or optimize around the existing finance stack; they are replacing it entirely. While most companies in this category layer dashboards, copilots, or automation tools on top of a fragmented foundation, Viewz took a fundamentally different approach: rebuilding the underlying infrastructure finance operates on.

Viewz’s platform combines a native general ledger, AI agents, and an embedded expert finance layer into a unified operating model spanning bookkeeping, FP&A, payroll, compliance, and reporting. Instead of stitching together disconnected vendors and workflows, companies run finance through a single governed system with continuously reconciled financial data, without lengthy implementations or added headcount.

The thesis is simple: AI on top of chaos is still chaos. The foundation has to change first.

That’s also why we increasingly see Viewz positioned not as another finance tool, but as a modern replacement for legacy ERP systems like Oracle NetSuite. Instead of requiring months-long implementations, large consulting projects, and additional headcount, deployments go live in days.

This creates something much bigger than workflow automation. It enables continuous close: finance that operates in real time instead of once a month.

Why We Believed Early

1. They attacked the foundation, not the surface

Most vendors improve reporting. Viewz rebuilt the ledger layer itself. Once the underlying structure becomes unified, governed, and AI-native, everything downstream changes.

2. The founders lived this pain personally

Moti Cohen, Omer Aviad, and Liran Kessel spent more than two decades across audit, CFO roles, and finance operations before founding the company. They experienced the problem firsthand while running finance organizations themselves.

3. The market timing feels inevitable

Finance remains one of the last major enterprise functions still operating on fragmented legacy infrastructure. As AI adoption accelerates, the limitations of those systems become impossible to ignore. Reliable intelligence requires a reliable underlying data architecture.

4. The early traction looks like infrastructure replacement

Customers are adopting the platform. Since its quiet launch roughly a year ago, Viewz has grown to millions in ARR, maintained zero voluntary churn, and expanded meaningfully within existing accounts. That behavior resembles infrastructure replacement more than traditional SaaS adoption. Customers are not adding another layer to the stack, they are replacing core systems and outsourced workflows entirely.

Looking Ahead

With $7M in seed funding, Viewz is doubling down on its belief that finance does not need more tools, it needs a new foundation.

As AI reshapes enterprise software, we believe one theme will become increasingly clear: intelligence is only as reliable as the structure underneath it.

At Ibex Investors, we’re proud to back Moti, Omer, Liran, and the entire Viewz team as they rebuild finance infrastructure from the ledger up.

The future of finance won’t be built on another dashboard layer. It will be built on systems designed for automation, intelligence, and real-time operations from day one. Viewz is building exactly that.
